2 - Skyward (Family Access) - Make sure you are receiving weekly emails from SHS Principal Mr. Barnes.
Skyward (Family Access) is SBISD’s password-protected site that provides both parents, and students access to course grades, homework, attendance, and other data. You can gain access to Skyward by visiting the SHS Main Office. The link to Skyward can be found at the “Family Access” link on the home page of the SHS website or https://www.springbranchisd.com/studentsfamilies/family-accessskyward.
3 - Directory - SHS PTSA has gone on-line! The SHS PTSA Directory has moved to an online platform - the Membership Tool Kit App. You'll love it! Confirm, update, and/or add your student’s information now through September 30, 2021, by registering on our website at stratfordptsa.com. Please include your student’s cell phone number so he/she can be contacted for school-related projects.

The PTSA "Big Form" & Directory
The "Big Form" comes out in August and combines all Back to School Forms. This form allows you to join the PTSA, become a Sparta Supporter, purchase access to our Online Student Directory, and donate to our Scholarship and Teacher Appreciation funds. The Big Form is available on the PTSA website at stratfordptsa.com through September 30th. After that go to our Online Store.

Grade Level - Class Leaders/Coordinators
Each class at SHS has its own Grade Level Principal. Contact information for these administrators can be found on the SHS website at https://ssh.springbranchisd.com/.
The SHS Counselors are split by alpha order. Visit our SHS Counselors website for valuable information at https://www.shs-spartans.com/.
Each class also has two parents who serve as Peer Group Coordinators who help ensure that parents receive the information necessary for their child’s grade level. Contact information for the Peer Group Coordinators can be found on the PTSA website.
Link Crew - Newcomer/Freshman Orientation "Students can help students succeed"
Link Crew is a high school transition program to welcome freshmen to Stratford and make them feel comfortable throughout the first year of high school. Link Crew is led by juniors and seniors. Link Crew leaders help guide freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful throughout high school.
Newcomers Coffee - IN PERSON - August 12, 2021. Time & Location TBD.
Parents are invited to attend the Newcomers Coffee hosted by SHS PTAS while freshmen students are attending Link Crew. This is an opportunity to meet the SHS Building Principal, the 9th Grade Principal, the PTSA President and other helpful members of the Stratford community. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Spartan Pride merchandise from the different SHS groups and clubs.
Open House - SHS will host its first Open House the evening of August 12, 2021. Details are still developing so stay tuned!

SHS Handbook Addendum
Stratford High School has an addendum to the SBSID Handbook. This addendum sets out important information including: Absence policy, Academic Honesty Policy, All Bell Schedules, Dress Code, Electronic Devices Policy, Exam Exemption Policy, Make-Up Work Policy, Re-test Policy, Tardy Sweep.

ItsLearning is an alternative to a standard website that allows interaction between the teachers and students. Teachers can input lessons and resources, and students can interact with these resources as well as with other students. Naviance is a college and career management system designed to help students discover their strengths and match strengths to careers and personality. Naviance is also a college application management system that allows students to research and compare colleges, search for scholarship and upload transcripts and letters of recommendations used during the application process.
Communities in Schools (CIS)
Our SHS Communities In Schools Wellness Counselor, Amanda Thompson, is available for every student to address issues such as, but not limited to, grief and loss, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, and suspected drug/alcohol abuse, while providing our students with a trusted person to turn to and a safe place to work through negative thoughts, emotions or situations.- https://spartans4spartans.com/
